Based on the teardown the repairability of the iPad Pro 13 inch with the new M4 chip seems to be relatively low. The device received a score of 6.0 out of 10. While there are some improvements in terms of battery replacement and access to certain components the overall design and construction of the device still make it difficult for repairs to be done easily. The use of strong adhesive and the need to remove multiple components to access certain parts make it a time-consuming and potentially damaging process. Additionally the disposable nature of the Apple Pencil and the difficulty in accessing its battery also contribute to the lower repairability score.
