Summary

The Nothing Phone One has a repairability score of 2.0 out of 10. The device requires the use of a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the adhesive on the back plate and then a plastic pry tool to remove it. The device also requires the removal of 12 T5 or Torx 5 screws as well as several Phillips screws. The battery is held in place with adhesive and requires a pull tab to remove it. The flex cables for the wireless charging coil LED lights and light up strip are all adhered to the back of the plastic cover and need to be carefully removed. The main board and sub board both need to be disconnected and removed in order to access the screen cable. The fingerprint sensor and X-axis linear motor are both held down with adhesive and need to be carefully pried off. Finally the copper vapor chamber runs underneath the motherboard and requires thermal paste to be reapplied.
