Based on the teardown the repairability of the Honor 9X is 6.5 out of 10. The device has some positive aspects such as the battery cable and battery being easily accessible and pull tabs provided to remove the battery. However there are also some negative aspects such as adhesive used for the back cover and battery and several components needing to be disassembled to replace the screen. Additionally plastic covers covering the boards need to be removed to access the cables.
